After having a new baby, things can be hard. Emotional, physical, financial and familial changes are taking place and it’s normal to feel tired, overwhelmed, scared, nervous or sad. Commonly it takes up to two weeks after the birth for your brain and body to get into a rhythm of caring for yourself and your newborn. Having a baby comes with a lot of expectations (of you, spouse, baby, schedule, family, friends) and it takes time for us to adjust those expectations to reality. We must mention that up to 10% of fathers suffer from postpartum mood disorders and they may need help too. When it’s more than just the “Baby Blues”?
